CBJ pass. With Johnson, Sillinger, and likely more high picks to come, there is no need to dump draft capital to pick up Strome as a stopgap 1C. A position, from my understanding, he isn’t cut out for.

The team is trying to tank, and develop from within. This trade obstructs both those ends.

Looks like you cleaned out a bunch of junk from your closet and are trying to pawn it off on Buffalo.
(At least you put a 1st round pick in there, albeit in 2023 when the draft probably won’t be as deep).

the 2 key elements that hinder this scenario from working would be the Cap Hit and the Returns on those trade. Unfortunately the other organisations are unlikely to part with that for what your offering.
