I dont think Hughes will sign long term unless he gets superstar money, like 9.5ish plus. Listening to his recent interview, he thinks he's already there. Hischier comp will be irrelevant to him. I have a bad feeling that it will be contentious, short or long.

I am not worried as I believe Fitzy has keep his powder dry for such a scenario. Whether he gets $6m, $7m, $8m, $9m, $10m he is about as easiest a decision as they have.

Agree 100%, he will get whatever he wants eventually, NJ has every incentive to keep him happy ... but the dance will happen and Hughes side will push hard. I just hope they keep it civil.
