Description

This would be a very good team in two seasons. A pretty young squad with a few veterans.

I signed Foligno for 1,5m and he would play on the 4th line. It would be awesome to get him back in a few years. Angle could play on Foligno's spott too.
I think Yegor will have two really good seasons so that's why he gets 7,5 for 8 years.
Top 6 is very good, and top 4 of defense too. With this team we at least fight for a playoff spot and maybe a first round win :)

Trades: Debrusk for Domi and a 6th round pick. I think it's a good deal for both teams. CBJ gets a player who has potential to be a top 6 player. Boston gets Domi who struggled last season but can easily bounce back. Both of these two guys have been in trade talks and both have struggled with their current teams.

Martinook for 4th and 7th round picks. I really like Martinook, he's a good player that can play 3-4 line roles and can kill penalties. I think Martinook's value is not that high.

Samorukov, 2nd and a 4th round pick for Korpisalo. Samorukov has potential to be a top 6 (maybe top 4) defenseman in the NHL. Korpisalo is a very solid starting goalie who has been selected to an all star game. He didn't have his best season but can easily bounce back.

2nd round pick for Nyqvist. This is maybe a little bit overpay for Nyqvist but he could play a top 9 role in a stanley cup contender team.

5th round pick for Voracek, 2nd and a 4th. Voracek needs to be traded in a few years with that contract. Edmonton gets a 34 years old playmaker who can play a top 6 role. If Chinahov gets a bridge deal, then we probably don't need to trade Jakub.

6th round pick for Kuraly. Kuraly would have been a healthy scratch in this team so I decided to trade him with that cap hit. He could play a 4th line role on montreal.

5th for Stenlund. I think Stenlund will be a 3rd or 4th line center in the NHL. I think there is a chance he goes to KHL in a few years. He has still some potential

5th round pick for Robinson. He's maybe worth a 3rd or a 4th round pick. I had to trade someone so we would have cap space.

Maybe to you Martinook’s value isn’t high, but to the canes his value is astronomical. While those picks would be about his value on the market, canes aren’t moving him for that. The jackets traded for Voracek to have a playmaker for Laine, and now you want to dump him? Not sure that is the wisest move.

oilers wont do either of those trades.
biggest issue is we dont have 11 million in cap space just sitting there..
also they are very high on samarukov

Oilers dont need a worse goalie than we already have. You would have to pay us to take Korpisalo

Korpisalo has had 1 season out of his last 4 with a sv% above 0.900... that's not a "very solid starting goalie".
