Quite a bit of assets to Buffalo or less retention

4m retention just isnt realistic at all, and you didnt add any value to your trade to get it
Vesalainen is pretty much a write off as this point, his stock is way down.

You would have to trade Perfetti no matter what to get the Sabres interested

Remove retention, remove Vesalainen and Dubois and add multiple assets from Winnipeg

You pretty much need to start from scratch.

Eichel with 0 retention

For

Perfetti
Chisholm
2022 1st

IMO that’s what Buffalo would ask for, is something around that. So take that how you may. If there’s any Eichel to wpg deal to be made, likely would have to move some major $ out, which is nearly impossible as the $ is distributed throughout the core. Unless wpg is willing to move on from Copp and Morrissey. Wheeler would be great to move to BUF, but there’s 0 chance he waives his NMC.

$20,000,000 worth of retention isn't happening, but for pretend; I would add Perfetti, '23 and '24 1sts (unprotected, no conditions)

Buffalo has enough AHL Dmen but Perfetti and a conditional first is a start

This wouldn't work for Buffalo and Winnipeg doesn't need Eichel. The Jets don't need to chase every shiny new toy out there. Especially broken ones.

Really wish the large retention trades on here would stop, they're extremely unrealistic.

I mean Chisholm is probably 2 years away from being a top 4 dman, looked awesome in preseason and is a very good puck moving RHD that’s only 21. So I personally view him as a solid prospect. But yeah Perfetti and conditional first is a start.
