I think putting Strome on the LW of Kadri makes more sense as then you can have Nichuskin and Jost be a shutdown 3rd line with Newhook

Youre probably right in the long term but Bednar has been liking Nichushkin on the 2nd line in camp + preseason

Why Beaucage over Kaut? I haven't kept up on them but Kaut was projected to have a much higher ceiling, as I recall...

Decent offer this. seems to work for all involved but the fact its the same division would make this a hard sell.

I am decidedly not a Strome fan (any of them), but Dylan is a bad fit COL, his biggest weakness (skating) is what the Avs prize most. And if you are going to play Newhook on the wing on the 3rd line and Ranta on the 4th line you might as well send them down.
