I won’t say anything on that dumpster fire of a Sabres trade, but why does Carolina even consider that? Hoffman isn’t what he used to be, and Canes aren’t giving up a 2nd in a deep draft where that second is their first pick of the draft.

Ok I lied about saying no more about the Eichel trade, but that is the epitome of quantity is not equal to quality. I’m sorry, but the premiere piece of the that trade offer, the crème de la crème, if you will, is the late first rounder that will be the Canes first round pick. Do I really need to rip into that trade any further? You are not getting a franchise level player for bottom of the barrel roster players and prospects that haven’t panned out.

Some C prospects Mysak, Tuch, Poehling, and Ylönen and journeymen NHL players do not have much value.
Hagg is playing really well. While he has not scored he leads all D-men with 3:07 of PK TOI/GM. BTW the PK is perfect 3 for 3, no goals against in three games.
