IMO Calgary would be better off writing this season off, and moving forward with Eichel next season. Best case scenario would be to keep a high 1st round pick in this years draft and unloading Monaghan but probably would cost a lot do make it happen. What do you all think. Remember this is coming from an Oiler fan so idk how far off I am

Poor take, definitely trade Zary over Pelletier. Pelletier fits the direction and dynamic of this team way better

Fair enough I figured we have enough undersized forwards but I didn't realize Pelletier's AHL production so far. I'd do the trade either way though.

So he's not a zero value player, he doesn't fit in Buffalo but to say he is zero value is wrong.
