Fox would never play for Vancouver, he already refused to play for both Calgary and Carolina. Already said on record that he'd only accept the Rangers the team he grew up as a child rooting for.

do me a favor... find me an article or a recording where he says the only team he would play for would be the rangers. I know in his latest pressor he said he could only envision himself playing here. However I am talking about before the rangers traded for him. I have seen and heard multiple people say this but all I have witnessed was him exercising his right through the loophole within the NCAA.

Unfortunately that’s the problem with the nhl these days. Unless your in an eichel situation you shouldn’t care where your playing if your in the nhl especially as a 23 year old. Sure once you hit ufa you can choose to go wherever but before that you should just be happy to be getting paid to play a game
