Haven’t really gotten enough of a feel for Suter to be sure on his value, but based on his track record and the fact he’s been starting to heat up in the past couple games, It’d have to be a 2nd/3rd and/or a prospect. The package I’d look for if I was selling him would be POJ and a 3rd, but that may be higher than the Pens would be willing to pay.

Letting Suter walk for nothing was just another needless L for the Hawks, what a joke

Last nights goal was Suter's first point that didn't involve Bertuzzi or Fabbri.

It was a great shot too, really showing off the skill and net-driving ability that we saw last season when he demolished us with his first, second, and third career goals.

I feel like POJ could be traded, but it would have to be closer to the deadline cause we would have a better understanding of where we sit in the standings

I'm actually surprised that nobody grabbed Sonny on waivers in October. Kind of reminds me of Spronger, in that when he's playing with confidence, the offence comes in spurts. When he's not, it's a wasted spot in the lineup. It's nice to see him getting a shot right now, but 8 games certainly doesn't pump the value up.

IMO, his value to the Ducks is far more than it would be to anyone else. A return for him would be (at max) a late round pick, but the Ducks are playing right now, and he's proven that he can be useful for them. Nobody should rush out and overpay for a guy that was waived a little over a month ago, but I'm pretty content seeing him buzz around out there. *Maybe* something finally clicked?

He is a smart player and the Guelph line was Detroit's 2nd PP unit.

        Yay my hometown

Never expected Pius Suter to be this good tbh

Watched him a bunch in jr. Very pleasant surprise. 🎉

        He was always good though

Career primary pts/60 of 1.3 before he came Anaheim and steady Corsi, guys that get between 12-14 minutes game have their point totals limited

15:34 per game so far helps greatly

Also that he was 21-23 in columbus

Most players reach their full prime around 24

I don't see NSH having interest in moving on from Kunin yet, but I think something like the Palmieri deal from ANA to NJD makes some sense -- 2x 2nds. Similar stats, similar players, similar age.
