That's a very late 1st rounder in the Kane transaction. The players involved are not extremely appealing, they'd probably want a higher end prospect than what is there. But with no retention, and maybe upgrade that 2nd rounder to another one of Buffalo's late 1st rounders, CHI might accept... Especially if Kane requests to go home to Buffalo to finish his career or if the Hawks want to move on without him. But I would think CHI could probably fetch a more appealing proposal in a Kane trade.

Why are we trading for Kane?
We’re not ready for a move like that
Still a few years away

No yelling ✔

Everything seems roughly ok except

Yeah the 88 trade and contract is for his age 32-37

Confused

Doubtful he waives even with the hometown factor

Boston not interested.
I will accept your opinion, but in the past nearly every post that moves Carlo, includes a comment by a Bruin fan that Boston is thin at RHD.
Miller has finally broke free of Krueger's leash and is playing very well.

Boston farm system is thin. They need the pick more than they need a 3rd pair d man with 1 year left, especially with every d man on the roster already signed for next year. They can sign a UFA if it’s a need.

Great answer.
Hypothetically, if Boston is in the hunt at the TDL, looking at the current team what would be their greatest need?

Won’t know til then. Injuries and performances will dictate that.

Right now it’s still LD1. More production form middle 6 centers would be on the agenda.

But come playoffs…they need some nasty on the backend. D is small and soft.

Hagg could be a good fit as he leads the Sabres with 25 hits.
He as played well and is paired with Pysyk by Granato to shut down the other teams top lines.
He is also inexpensive with a low cap hit.
BTW thank you for chatting with me and answering my questions.
