Olofsson is like Hoffman, only good on the PP. You can keep him at that price

He's been pretty decent 5v5 this year.

I like that asplund said that olofsson is aware of the 5v5 thing, and he is working his ass off to be a better all around player. It shows.

No way they are trading Olofsson. I like Victor also, he is the same age as Ristolainen and if that was the offer and knowing Asplund and Peterka play LW, I would trade him.

Olofsson is like Hoffman, only good on the PP. You can keep him at that price. That was the obvious assessment two years ago, this year of his 5 goals over 8 games only one is a PP goal.

He's been pretty decent 5v5 this year. He has certainly surprised me. On the other hand the PP has been powerless since he has been hurt.

Adding an additional first and Zary to the prospect pool it would be hard to pass on this trade.
Granato has certainly changed the team.
They won their seventh game yesterday, last year we had to wait until game 35 to see the seventh win.
Knowing how well Tuch can play, while Mittelstadt and Jokiharju have been hurt since game one, with Quinn, Peterka, Laaksonen, Samuelsson and Krebs lighting up the AHL, next year could be exciting.

If future considerations means essentially nothing (a late round pick only), the Jets would accept and start accruing cap space again after the trade.

That said, it cost the Jets Armia and some ballast to get rid of Steve Mason's contract (1yr left of $4.1 million) so the price to unload Little (2yrs at $5.292 million as of 22-23) would be alot more.
