Zac Jones and a 2nd for a few months of Chiarot? That's brutal. I don't know how he gets the best package out of the 3 player trades here...

Vilardi for Kravtsov and a first, maybe; but not that insult.

Vilardi is going to be an NHL player. What's Kravtsov shown that says he will be?

-Can't see why the Yotes would take that deal.
-Vegas has no reason to move Smith. I'd assume that they've got the space to make it work when Eichel/Patches return. He's basically a free rental for them, and if he were available, he'd be one of the top rental forwards available.
-I don't feel like LA moves Vilardi for a player that can't even play for them until (at minimum) the KHL season is over.
-Montreal says yes.

Probably went a little overboard. But since there are some rumors out there of potentially giving up a 1st for him, I thought I was undercutting it. Perhaps the 2nd by itself would suffice.

Rangers might need to add a little, but Vilardi's stock has fallen a bit. Wouldn't be a 1st.

I think he would need another NHL showcase, but Jones himself could be worth a 1st to the right team. Honestly I'd view it more as a one for one swap with Jones, but I'd rather save him for some other trade personally

Vilardi’s concussion issues that made him drop in his draft class to eleventh, still worry me.

I can't remember if it was concussion issues before the draft, but there has not been any concussion injuries for Vilardi since the draft that I can think of. The time he missed due to injury was back related. That has healed up fully, and doesn't seem to be chronic or easily re-injurable like a concussion.

You are correct sir! Just looked it up (probably something I should have done before commenting) and you’re right that’s it was back issues, not concussion issues. So I’d like to change my answer to yes, I now like the trade.

Doesn't surprise me, because it's a steal for the Rangers. Kings need more from New York before they consider it.
