I hate to say it but nobody wants lucic and he cant be bought out so he is a flame till the contract is done.

He’s great at 4LW. His lack of speed is less of an issue there, and he is free to bash and crash there. He’s also capable of providing a little depth offense. At 1.5m he’s great value, and a great guy to have in the room/in that position. It’s only the fact that he makes 5.25mil on the 4th line that’s the issue.

easily in my top 5 favourite bruins i ever got to watch play, great guy and was the true heart and soul of the big bad bruins. wish we never traded him, him and krech had unreal chemistry .

as for trade wise i do think his cap is a bit steep and if you guys were looking to clear cap with monahan i think bruins should definitely try negotiating one, with or without debrusk involved

"you hate to say it", no one else does, riding out his contract in Calgary is fine, he will start seeing the press box next year a little but he has more value to the Flames over the next two years than dumping his contract at a cost. I know Oilers fans still want to dump on the deal but Calgary made out significantly better.
