Why would COL trade Girard an established top pairing quality 23yr old dman on a team friendly contract for the next 6 seasons for a rental, a pick and a freaking ECHL goalie. Literally Sakic laughs at that offer. Also I love Barron but bro he hasn’t played a game in the NHL and you have him in the Avs top 4 as a reason to trade him? Not good. I’ll say this for like the 100 time, Girard is better than Jones, makes half as much as he fetched 2 1st rd picks a 2nd rd pick and a top D prospect. Hard no from the Avs.

Ceci has been one of our most stable dmen this year. This would also open up a hole on the RHD that we don't have anyone ready to step up into. I'd rather acquire Brassard for a 3rd than any of those other players that were moved.
