GM Game Master Thread

OK. Here's a game that people can play if they want where people can pretend to be the GM of a team, and we can make trades and stuff as if it's the offseason (no vegas expansion trades until we get closer to the expansion draft, though you may talk about those trades). You may ask for a team, and i will give you that team if it isn't already taken. My favourite teams are the Rangers and Islanders tied, so i'll be the Islanders. Each person may only be the GM of one team.

Dangles, you will be remembered by me in the only positive way I can imagine. I support that you should be allowed to do whatever you want to do w/ your team, but you have done it in a way that leaves me disgusted. I sided with you on Rangers, but you no longer have my support, and most likely, everyone else's.

When are you going to realize that there are ZERO repercussions for the way you GM in this game? BOG members literally have no power. Only mods hold the power and they don't seem to want to remove any GM from this game. It was only a matter of time before this happened. zach turned this into NHL 17, it just turns out that he is the AI that accepts horrific trades.

Ya it is a game and it was fun but when **** like that happens it completely kills it.

You an try and defend that Karlsson for Barrie trade as much as you want but it is completely indefensible.


I'm sorry, that trade might be one-sided. Think everyone agrees w that. But is there another person in this game that deserves it more? Rico has done more for the game then anyone. I think that move was kind of a respect thing. And again, you can still Target him. You actually have a better chance of getting him now!

Dangles, if you want to sully the GM Game go ahead. I have made my share of mistakes, as has everyone, but I have apologized for most of them.

I don't want my name associated with you anymore. There are repercussions from others, even if the BOG can't boot you. I like the people in this game. I like the GM Game. If you don't just leave and let everyone else stay

you know... It was beneficial in the eyes of Zach. Rico called the deal moronic before he accepted and gave Zach an out. Zach was sure he wanted to make this trade because it was HIS VISION FOR HIS TEAM I'm sorry you don't see that

You don't see any other person, pointing this out as a blatantly bad trade. You are making a bigger deal of it than you should. This is an online community of people, sharing a love of hockey. We have all made bad trades, some more than others. We shouldn't target people for making a stupid trade. It happened. So what. Move on with your life. If you don't like that trade, and have no real desire to continue the game, then please allow an assistant GM to fill the void on your team... I believe the order of choosing someone goes MatthewsMarnerFan, McJesus, then Math

MMN is first in line. However, he is pretty much the GM of TOR since Bman seems to have disappeared again
