None of the trades make sense, except maybe for the Dallas one

Kane is far more offensively productive than Schwartz and McCann. He's wasted in the bottom six.

How does the Dallas one make sense? We’re thin on RHD as it is and Jarnkrok isn’t good

Jarnkrok is actually pretty good, he's a good 3rd liner and at face value, it's fine

5 points in 19 games isn’t pretty good. And he disappears in the playoffs. Jani is a quality RHD with size that can play up if needed. Easy pass

Yes of course, because you get all the info about a player by looking at his points and nothing else

Production matters. I know he does a lot of things well, but we already have guys that do those things. And if he isn’t scoring in another system he def won’t be in ours. Considering what we have I’d much rather have the defenseman

I think the bones are there on all these trades. Calgary wants Gio back for a cup run and want a 7th D. Definitely might need a sweetener. Domi and Tarasenko both want out of that market (have asked for trades in past IR stints). CBJ need a center that can PK +Domi seen as overpaid, and SL want Dunn back. I don't think it's too farfetched but the market hasn't really been set yet. We'll see.

I do think Kane is wasted on the 3rd line, but it's temp with some PP time. Idk boys, just spec'n here...

Calgary can't afford Gio and him leaving was a massive culture change is a positive direction. Tanev is a far better player now and the gap between the 2 is much larger than those spare parts. Still love Gio but if he wants to come back its for league min next year

Nah, the Blues trade is wildly farfetched. Tarasenko has already said the trade thing is not an issue now and the Blues don;t want Dunn back.

CBJ’s needs are:

- High skill top-6 forwards;
- High end RD;
- Picks, prospects;

Wennberg is a good defensive C, but that’s not what I’d say the team needs right now. More importantly, I am not a fan of him at $4.5M per year, and I imagine CBJ are on his NT list, since things didn’t exactly end well with him here before.

I’d rather just trade Domi for a 1st.
