If you have really good grades, firstly keep up the great work, but secondly, Canada isn't the place to go for a high-quality post-secondary education. It's no different than the American schools: the savings aren't substantial (the program I took was only half the price of its American counterparts), and even then costs are skyrocketing as the for-profit model creeps north.

Look at what's best for you and your future. I would recommend Europe*. It's affordable and you'll receive far more than just an education by studying abroad. Culturally, spiritually, you'll grow a lot more as a person than if you stayed home, went to a local community college, and never really ventured out beyond the world you grew up in. There will be guilt with wanting to stay in touch with family and friends, but they'll understand when you come out on the other side better for it. There's an age-old adage about not coming into your own until you leave your hometown. You have a lot of road ahead of you. Don't be afraid to make mistakes. Just try not to hurt anyone along the way!

*Offer not valid if WW3 breaks out by June. Mileage may vary.

The reason I would want to go to school there is to experience living in Canada. I really want to be a dual citizen. That would be a lot of work tho. I really want to play hockey. I don’t want to play professionally. I just want to play. Also lacrosse and box lacrosse is really big there too and box is my favorite sport to play. The people seem really nice. I love the cold weather. I need a change of scenery. I know I’m young and probably don’t know what I’m saying. I need something new. I’m life currently seems like a loop and it’s driving me crazy. I need motivation. School is better but need something. I’m sure what it is but I will find out eventually I will find out

At your age post secondary education shouldn’t your main focus. Maybe at grade 11-12 it will be/should be, but as of now try to focus on your grades/opportunities of the future. High school might be hard, but you need to push through it, it’s a part of life.

You can re-ask that question when the proper time comes.

The government was planning to do that yes, but thus far no, it's not true. It just isn't realistic however you look at that.

As for homework...it depends on the school level you're in. At the lower level of education it's probably less than that, but at the higher level it can be 3h per day. It depends on the individual really.
