He will remember the Hyman negotiations and deny taking an injury riddled goalie that has term. Oilers made the mistake of betting on an injury-prone goalie before, not gonna do the same mistake

It really doesnt move the needle much for Edm. It just seems like a trade made for the sake of making a trade and seems pointless. Lawson Crouse will likely draw alot of interest around the League and a 1st round pick or high prospect is going to be the return. He is also team controlled as an RFA for 1 more year which also adds value as it makes him a non rental

This is pretty terrible for EDM. They should probably just pull a Hyman 2.0 and sign Jack Campbell in the off season. Far better use of money than Mrazek and Ritchie, but TOR fans know that...which is why they're desperately trying to dump them both now. Ritchie and Mrazek equal $6.2M...and most Leafs fans aren't even giving Campbell that amount.

Ya. GMs aren't jumping at the chance to get those two; they would however want to see how much they can get Campbell for in the off-season.
