Other offers would be beat anything the Bruins would/ should offer.

And the Bruins need to keep some guys in their depleted system. Don’t think they need to go big game fishing.

Sharks say no. Studnicka isn’t turning out at all, DeBrusk fine I guess. Not enough value coming back

His QO is 4.41M, don't know what team would consider offering him anything above 2M, and why he would not choose to go to the open market.

He's a rental.

Nothing about this offer is even the least bit enticing. Studnicka is a fringe B level prospect, DeBrusk is a glorified 4th liner and the 1st is the only part of the deal that makes sense and it alone is not getting Hertl. The conversation starts with Lysell.

yes, my point is any team would have to offer him a 4.41M/1yr contract in order to keep his rights past July 9th (unless signed before then), and I can't see much reason DeBrusk would be interested in resigning with SJ instead of going to the market.

No team would offer him that QO
and why would DeBrusk want to stick with the mediocre team he's been with for 2 months over going to the open market and potentially getting more money?

Lmao not saying this deal gets it done, but Sharks fans are going to be disappointed with the return they get for Hertl.

So no one would give him his QO but he'll get more money on the open market? Huh?

He’ll get more money on the market than he would get from SJ, and he would have that right since no reasonable GM (of a team he’s traded to) would qualify him.

I could see him in a deal to ARZ and with their lack of player signed next season, they'd probably be willing to do his QO to help get to the cap floor.

Studnicka has been pretty good, management is just allergic to young players.

Has anyone ever proposed a hertl trade you think the sharks would accept. At this point i think someone could make an ACGM with three firsts and a top prospect and you would just be there saying, “lol, sharks decline.”

Still waiting to hear how he’s worth more than stone.

Keep in mind, Hertl has a M-NTC. He has some pull in where he goes. I don’t think the return is gonna be as high as sharks fans think.
