Pretty sure it was his skating. His shot/puck handling was exceptional, and I’m pretty sure his defensive game was on par.

Skating can be improved though, just look at Brayden Point.

His skating isn’t great but his IQ/puck skills combo is elite and he his production was elite in his DY-1 + DY. His play style reminds me of Kucherov, just the way he thinks the game and makes his line mates better

The problem with Severson is the money does not work for 2022 with Campbell.

Manson would be a rental yes but once he goes we can use the space to try and bring Campbell back

True, but in OT Myers dumping the puck for the Oilers doesnt help the Canucks much. Possession is key especially when you give Mcdavid all that open ice.

Sustained pressure was key but Canucks kind of shot themselves in the foot in OT as 1 SOG vs. 9 is not good.

why has everyone for gotten the really good moves Holland has made, like every gm in the league would have traded JP for a second but Holland didn't, and he some how gotten a guy that scored 19 goals for Lucic, and Hyman is a great add to the top six. and he has gotten Petrov, Savoie, and Tullio all outside of the first 3 rounds

Those are good moves, give you that.
But the OIL are supposed to be CUP contenders NOT Wild-Card pretenders in the WEAKEST DIV this side of the ECHL, No?
