Penguins have a knack for letting a player play with Crosby, making them great, then selling high and they turn back into Conor Sheary. E Rod might fall into that category.

They can always rebuy him for 1/8th the price later.

Vancouver accepts the Halak trade. Makes sense for both.

Yes, erod has cooled down a LOT recently and i don’t want to give him a massive deal if he doesn’t pan out. He might be the real deal but I’m ship him off while the price is high. Maybe take out the second tho

A 4th or 5th for Stetcher is more than enough

Come on man. Erod has only played a few games with Sid this season. Also, Sheary is on pace for 50 points this season playing with Eller. Seems to be the Penguins are simply good at player development unlike your stinking team.

I would trade him but I'd prefer Lafreniere.

The deal is too small honestly. Uproot two guys lives for a 5th. I think there will be better option in trading Halak.

I would try and get a 3rd or 4th rounder out of that deal instead, Desmith really hasn't been good for the Pens

I'll take a 2nd for Stecher but that is an over pay. I'm not sure he will bring a 5th.

Hey thanks for stopping by with your input but consider next time not acting like a cuckhold for no reason.

Desmith is a cap dump the other way and getting a 5th and saving a big cap bonus is good for us.

I’d probably now switch it for a 3rd-5th range pick

What would the pens need to add for that return

Not saying I wouldn't do it for a 5th, I'd just be more inclined to hold out for a 4th or 3rd rounder if possible

Pens probably still do it, they really need a backup
