Description
skinner trade gave 2 2nds and a 6th and retain 2mil for an expensive contract
the reason i kept trading young players as cap dumps was for power, mittelstadt, quinn, krebs, Fitzgerald and dahlin's contracts when they expire.

i am rethinking the skinner trade i think schmidt is good but a bit overpaid in my opinion thats the main reason i did that trade but wnp could easily say no but pls give your thoughts

We are a bottom 10 team, why would we pay to get a player who's similar to what we already have?

If you need to move his cap, you can lower the price or pay to move him.

I don't think anybody is taking Skinner, probably buy him out in a year or two, no point paying draft capital now to move him. Asplund and ruotsalainen aren't worth what the return is here, and there's no reason to move them for less. The Sabres have no right d behind jokiharju, pysyk and Miller are both ufa, and we have a boatload of left d coming, but no righties (unless Oskar laaksonen takes a big step). We are in no position to move jokiharju.

That skinner contract is an absolute boat anchor and it would take ALOT more than a miss mash of 2nds and later picks even at 2M retention
