I wouldn't do either trade from Colorado's perspective. Take out Francouz, who has been very good, and think about what your passing up with a 1st, 2nd, Kaut, and Jost. They can do much better if they're giving up all that (e.g. Hertl or Giroux and probably something else as well).

COL is 9-0-1 in with 3 shutouts in there why in the world do they need Fleury, and Crouse is insanely overrated why would COL include a 1st because he is big? This makes the Avs worse.

spent a lot of assets and you didnt make the avs any better in the end.
That is a massive OP for Crouse and there is no need for Fluery, he is not a 2nd and Kaut better than Francouz

lot of people knocking on Crouse.
Not that I think he's worth that. But I'll give him credit. He's got 10 5v5 goals in 41 games. He's getting production.
At 24 I think he's probably a guy I'd take a run at, but not for that.

Both bad trades for the Avs. Frankie is fine as the Avs #2. Picks given away that could be better used and moving Jost without really improving the bottom 6 all that much and giving up a 1st to do it. Bad asset management.

Personally, I'm not knocking on Crouse at all. I just think that is a steep price for someone who will likely be a bottom six player on the Av's.

I think if Colorado was serious about chasing Crouse, they could do it for less than Jost and a 1st.

Maybe thats just me.
