Rangers aren't taking Kassian, Klingberg isn't the kind of dman Edmonton needs though he would be a good addition no doubt, they'd be better off acquiring a defense first dman with a lower acquisition cost then a 1st+.

I think the value on that Klingberg trade is about right, but it only makes sense if you guys can pay someone to take Barrie.

Dallas declines. Safin hasn’t shown anything to make anyone believe he has an NHL future, and Benson looks like he’s at best a bottom-6/13th forward.

Unless Edmonton is willing to trade one of Lavoie, Holloway, Broberg, or Savoie along with a 1st Round Pick, Dallas will trade Klingberg elsewhere.
