savard was much better then than chariot is now. and bad trades are not benchmarks. And the point was that all this "chariot will for sure 100% get a 1st+!" stuff is based on nothing but people guessing. There is no actual rumour, no source no nothing saying what chariot would get. Just some guys who arnt even good at trade analysis and get this stuff wrong all the time talking to fill air.

And no, he didnt have a good playoffs last year, Carey Price and Phil Danault had GREAT playoffs and Chariot was along for the ride. He was brutal and had some of the worst playoff metrics of any player in the entire league.

Regardless of how bad Chiarot and Mayfields metrics are, I’d still rather them as the 6th guy in the playoffs over dermott. At least they bring something different to the lineup. Dermott consistently tries to do way to much and usually it backfires, he makes head scratching plays every shift.
