Production with Kapenan has always been on and off. His best season was when he played with Marleau and Kadri. Man was that a fun third line.

Hes got time and I could see him getting 40 to maybe 50 points by the end of the year.

Be a little goody two shoes

Ride Mcdavid or Draisaitl

Get 50 points

Resulting in some GM giving him another massive deal

And the day after he signs it he goes back to his normal gambling dumb self making that team his next victim

Or in other words we get the Franklin GTA meme

As lets be honest he's going for the situation that can get him the maximum amount of money over having the best chance for a cup. Cause if he wanted a cup more than money he would have signed a league min deal with one of the 2 Florida teams (who had heavy interest).
