I think if I'm spending all that on a goalie I'd want someone a LOT more proven than Swayman.

MTL isn't retaining on all three without more incentive coming from Edmonton.

From what I've heard the asking price for Chairot and Petry is going to be pretty high for each. Not sure this gets it done.

I don't see Boston moving Swayman any time soon, especially how Rask has played on his return. They see Sway as the heir apparent.

Petry is not waiving his trade protection to stay in Canada. He wants to be able to see his family without all the red tape BS of crossing the boarder.

The Canadiens trade is just a mess for Montreal. Petry isn't going to a Canadian team if/when he's traded and there's just not a lot going to Montreal that fits their needs. Like, they'd take a guy like Barrie to make cap work, but I don't think they want him. Yamamoto isn't a great fit. Turris has negative value. Lavoie, Savoie and the picks are good, the deal is just too big.

Boston doesn’t want your horrible goalie prospect and 5th round OHL player, only thing valuable is first rounder here and we can get that plenty of other places
