You'd probably get more from a different team. The Leafs need right side and are pretty well stocked on the left. With Rielly signed to a new 8 year deal and Sandin coming up behind him, there would be no where for Harley to go other than the 3rd pair.

Jesus Christ is development goes fine. He is a 20 years old defenseman who haven’t played much last 2 season due to Covid. The Dallas Stars will continue to work with him. He haven’t even finish is entry level deal for god sake

Can you post the link to someone reputable saying the Harley is being shopped around?

As someone who has followed the Stars, and hockey, for over 25 years I haven't even heard rumors that Harley is being shopped. If you've heard otherwise, I'd be real curious to see where that rumor is coming from.

Harley should most likely be in the NHL by the end of next season, paired with Hakanpaa so I don't know why the Stars make this trade. The defenseman they need to get rid of is Suter.

Says who??? I could see him being available in the right trade for a specific need, but def not actively shopping him
