What would you change? 3rd to a 2nd? Andersson for a different defenseman?

Gee, you only ask for first for Rakell but ask for first and Holl for Manson. Manson are about equal trade value (despite what you read on CapFriendly) and Holl is on a great contract. Why do the Leafs add at all?

I just put it in there because I feel like there has been a lot of Leafs fans trying to get rid of him

Not 100% sure of what the value would be for Rakell either since I haven’t really seen a good reaction to anything more than a 1st and even that I haven’t seen much positive about that

Just a little feeler post I suppose pretending I’m Verbeek for the night, lol

Probably not enough for the jackets. A mid to late first a younger player not fulfilling his potential and a second won’t be enough.

At minimum another late first if your not trying to loose roster players. Still might not get it done.
Probably remove tippit and add Lundestrom. He fits our needs much more than a quantity of depth pieces.

I guess at TDL, you never know what a team would offer for Rakell. But you think the pick would either be in the late 20s....or maybe you get a good prospect and a second.

Leafs fans are so critical of their own guys....I guess they don't see the mistakes other players make on other teams.
Holl plays 20 minutes a night....no PP time, but lots of PK time and against top lines. On a top 5 team, believe 5th in GAA, but somehow so many think Brodie and Reilly are the only two capable NHLers have this year. I admit Holl and Muzzin have looked shaky at times compared to last year, and then the Leafs have young Sandin, Liljegren and middling Dermot as their top seven. Yes there could be improvement by at what cost? And in the Leafs case, being so close to the cap is always an issue.

I haven't followed Verbeek's career after his playing days. But during his playin, days he was one ornery, hard nosed player., with above skill, Good luck to him as GM

I just don't see why you do the last three trades when Verbeek confirmed that the Ducks are rebuilding. Also, I think Dermott + 1st is more suitable for Manson cuz the Ducks will need someone replacing Lindholm for a while.

If Calgary is trading their first this year its for a much more impactful player than Rakell.

great contract is a stretch he's our 5th best defenceman at best behind Rielly, Brodie, Muzzin, and Sandin. Bottom pairing defenceman in an ideal lineup. Manson is better. Would I pay the suggested price? No I would be hesitant to move a 1st rounder. But in terms of physicality and defensive play, which is all I'm really concerned about for our 2nd pair RHD, he is a noteworthy upgrade on Holl

I know that but just for fun to see what people think the values are to add a bigger name to the lineup

I would probably change the entire package. Unless contract talks are going really badly they would want either a young RHD like Marino or a package of a 1st and a high-end prospect that is ideally a RD or C. Plus with the Ducks being in the same division it would cost slightly more.
