Description
Fan of Marner, But I think this is a better use of the cap space. Tuch will never be as good as marner, and probably a less long career aswell at the top of their games.

I don't know value wise who and what adds, but that is not the intent here.

It opens up plenty of opportunity to add more at the trade deadline, and resign Campbell and Sandin next year.

Buffalo doesn’t do this straight up.

Not even close for marner, especially with Florida's 1st. Switch that to buffalos and add levi and the leafs start negotiating

I’m not normally a heart, leadership rah rah guy, but Alex Tuch is becoming the only star player to actually want to play in BUF. Can’t let players like him go. Doesn’t make sense for Buffalo.

Here is the deal, Marner would be really great and his resume is nearly equal to Jack Eichel.
On the other hand, Tuch does it all.
He has speed, strong along the boards, has a really hard shot, adds leadership and most important "LOVES" playing for Buffalo.
Earlier this year, I think everyone remember Leaf fans trading Marner for a bucket of pucks after his playoff production of 4 goals in 32 games (and zero goals the past two seasons).
Levi right now appears to be the steal of the century nearly stealing the gold medal last year in the WJHC and now posting a 1.55 GAA and 0.948 SV% at Northeastern University.
As much as I would like to add Marner, I WILL NOT trade Tuch.
