Min declines. Mitts and an LD aren’t enough for Fiala let alone with KK tossed in.

I truly believe Fiala will cost Cozens or Krebs.

Probably not...but definitely a top prospect and that's what Ryan Johnson is... Mitts is a MIN boy as well.

Scott Wheeler is projecting Johnson as a 4-5 defenseman as his ceiling, that's not exactly a top prospect... We're also pretty loaded with LD prospects. I know Mitts has dealt with injuries but he has been largely disappointing so far in his career. I'd be interested in him as a throw-in but he should not be a main piece to a Fiala trade. Fiala is going to cost a lot more than this, especially with Kahkonen added to the deal

I agree, but I'd say for Fiala, Cozens, Power, Krebs, and Levi are untouchable...maybe Rosen?

I am a Ryan Johnson fan as I am also a huge Gopher hockey fan! Johnson, IMO, will be a NHL-average 2nd pairing LHD who can kill penalties and play on the 2nd PP unit. He definitely has value, but with all the uncertainty of Mittelstadt, this is not enough for Fiala alone, but especially not enough if Kahkonen is included!

I don't think he'd return any of Krebs, Cozens, or Power. Krebs would be an ideal target for us but Buffalo traded Eichel to get him so I just don't see him being moved. Honestly not really sure if the Sabres have what we'd want for Fiala. Ideally we'd get a pick in the 8-12 range and maybe a B prospect. The Sens seem like a better trade partner with their pick likely ending up in that range and they have had interest in Fiala for a few years now
