nice job , you are not far off , a couple of adjustments here and there. At least you are realistic and try to make it fair for the teams and players involved. You may be a bit light on AAV but not by much.

Well, of Monahan, Dube, Zary and Valimaki, Zary is probably the only guy the Habs would be interested in anyways. Maybe Valimaki too. Monahan and Dube are there for cap reasons I presume.

If Montreal has no interest in these players then why even include them. Take out Valimaki or Dube. Calgary's not going to sell assets low just because Montreal has no interest in them. Flame's aren't desperate to make this move and this isn't the only dance partner.

For cap reasons it would be smarter to keep Dube. He's a cheap middle 6 player at 2,300,000 for 3 years and has been solid for Calgary with lots of room to grow still.

I didn't make the proposal, a Flames fan did. As a Habs fan I have no issue with removing Dube.

If CGY can move Monahan for positive value, than he shouldn’t be include here. Dube + 2nd for Dvo, Zary + 1st for Toffoli
