You grossly over-value Brock Boeser, And then sign him to a cheap 3 year $19,500,000 contract that noway he'd sign. Boeser isn't worth 2 1st and 2 4th round picks. Minimally Boeser will be looking at 7 years $49,000,000 not your low ball offer.

No, Boeser can't ask for 7M AAV on his next contract, if I'm lowballing him it's term wise, but the AAV is as much as he is going to get

What is the matter with you? Zadina is no longer a top prospect, he's a reclamation project now. Get with the times and stop getting butthurt

Ok I can see the boeser deal, I don't love it but I get it. You need a back up goalie, cossa is years away. Leddy has been a complete failure. Its not all his fault but yzerman won't compound the issue and resign him or atleast not that long. Chairot would be a good babysitter for hronek.

Doesn't matter what his current value is, he was still a 1st round pick and that's all that matters. He could easily return a late 1st round pick so no i'm not over-valuing him.

Ask me why Boeser can't ask for $7,000,000? Got news for you dude his qualifying offer is $7,500,000 so there's no freaking way he's signing for no 3 x $6,500,000 You're not even in the ballpark. Boeser can easily ask for $7,000,000 per and will get that much.

I'll admit I gave him too little term, but it's been reported he's willing to negotiate a longer-term contract at a lower number than his QO

Boeser wont get that, it doesnt matter what his QO is or what he asks for. Its about market value, Kyler Conner signed a 7yr/50mil deal, thats his closest comp in terms of age/position. His production is much less than that so why would they have the same contract?

Right because a Canuck fan would know what a Detroit player is worth, A late 1st is basically a 2nd round pick. Bottom line is Detroit would never make that offer and Boeser would never sign that contract.

Not for 3 years he wont, Possibly 7-8 years perhaps. But your term is way too low.

And a late 1st is not the same as a 2nd rounder just because they are potentially only a few spots difference

laugh Calling Zadina a reclamation project, The guy is only 22 and is still 4-5 years from his prime years that's hardly a reclamation project. Why don't you stick to Vancouver player you know. Instead of Detroit players you absolutely don't know about.

I would have gone with Dickens Seider for the title, but I'm 12 years old. This works too.

Yeah, but when prospects don't develop significantly over the course of their ELC, it diminishes their value pretty significantly
