he's good on the back end. i.e. a good complimentary piece to a good team. that's not worth kravtsov plus a second.

I think that Goodrow-Jankrok-Blais would be be a good 3rd on paper at least.

I did not say to add a 2nd. Straight up trade. Vitali doesn`t want to play for the Rangers but you could try to get more than Lehki from some other team.

You know what you`re getting from Lehki but Vitali is unproven. Could be a Stud or Dud. HABS would be taking the risk

IMO after moving Toffoli Montreal can't afford to move a LW'er we are already weak there, now our entire LW when healthy our LW lineup is Drouin, Lehkonen, Hoffman, Pitlick and Byron with Armia and Anderson capable of playing the LW. Our Best lineup I could come up with is

Lehkonen-Suzuki-Caufield
Hoffman-Dvorak-Gallagher
Drouin-Poehling-Anderson
Pitlick-Evans-Byron

With Armia, Pacquette and Perrault all traded

ah misunderstood u there. rangers would prob try to keep it to a pick (2nd + future 3rd i'd say is fair) and use kravtsov to get a bigger name center like giroux or miller.

Its not ideal, but when our 3rd line is as bad as it is, its something worth trying. Also, theyre all veterans and professionals. They may not have played together, but theyre being asked to continue playing the same position theyve been playing all year.

Either way, I think the 3rd line needs 2 players.

If Lehky was a rental that would be the price he'd probably fetch however, he is an RFA this season so the price should be higher is that a first, probably not unless there is a bidding war, but a 2nd and 4th or something along those lines would be the expected return as he is technically not a rental.

Some of the values might need a little tweaking...but good idea all around- hope this is the way Drury is thinking. While improving this team for a playoff run- they do burn through some picks and prospects- but the main pieces they obtain are not rentals...so if they decide not to extend Copp or Lehk, they still will be able to move for value. And they still have their own 1st and 2nd going into the draft- as well as Schneider, Othmann, and Korszak on board- with Krav to be dealt with later. Just want to hear from Seattle fans regarding the Chytl trade...that trade basically breaks down to Chytl for a 2nd...but that 2nd will be mid 30's.
