That’s fine. Anything less than a first and it’s not worth it. He’s young enough to still be part of the future, can play up and down the lineup and also kills penalties. I will “enjoy lehkonen” thank you very much.

Value is close enough for Lehkonen. It's a "championship" move though. NYR likely aren't secure enough with their chances to make that trade.

That’s a fair point. My counterpoint would be he’s an rfa at the end of the season so this isn’t a one-shot “championship move” they’d be able to resign him and take a few more shots after that too.
