Initial Creation Date: Feb. 16, 2022
Published: Feb. 16, 2022

Description
Yes I know this puts them at 70k over the cap but they can figure out some cap gymnastics until the playoffs. (I accidentally created Copp twice)

  3. Villeneuve, William
  4. 2024 7th round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Leafs would have to use a middle man to retain for both players. I can't do that on here so I will use Seattle for both. They have no picks left so they'll give a decent prospect. Obviously they would be using a different team for each trade but its easier to show it like this.

going all in and trading for chariot is like going all in and hitting on a 20 when the dealer is showing a 2

If you want Chiarot you want him on the left side.

Copp probably tests the market and somebody spending more than the leafs can afford, chiarot is who he is, with effort and hunger he made himself into a poor man’s top 4, but ideally now he’s a depth lhd, and not a bad warrior to have in a playoff fight, but definitely not a monster top 4 move.

Jets are likely holding out for that 1st round pick or equivalent prospect for Copp. Jets will be willing to retain 50% so that isn't an issue.

Not a bad offer, I just am hoping for better and I've seen other offers for him on here that I like more.
