why is Pittsburgh putting Boyle through waivers? they're in 1st place and he's a veteran with tons of playoff experience, there's no need for them to lose him for nothing

Yeah, think you have the values all mixed up, McLeod and a 2nd for Lehkonen, yet Graves(a need and far better player) is only worth Yamamoto and a 5th?? Highly doubt they deal McLeod to begin with and they don't that deal with MTL....

I’m not a fan of most of these. The Varlamov one could be good, but I don’t know if Holland gets a goalie this year as Smith, and Skinner are playing very well. I rather keep our young 4c than get a guy like Lehkonen as we don’t need left wingers, and McLeod is a better fit. Olofsson is a decent player, but again, rather not get a forward, also, if we got one, we would probably want him to have term, because there is no chance we would be able to resign Olofsson. Now for the last one, I like Graves but Yamamoto is staying, plus, if we need to upgrade our defence, I think upgrading the right side would be better. Especially since our LHD prospects are better than our RHD prospects. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind seeing us get a RHD this draft.

Yeah, this literally makes no sense. Also, barring a complete slide out of the playoff race, they're not moving Boyle at all. He's been so good for us, especially with Blueger being out.

    Olofsson for a conditional 2nd ?

    That’s just laughable
There is ZERO CHANCE the Sabres do that

Any Olofsson trade would START with a 1st
And that’s IF we’d even decide to move him

    This is a hideous offer
