Not a chance in hell. This does nothing for the Blues but hurt them. BAD. And Army will NEVER send this sort of star player to a rival, let alone for a rental the Blues have no use for.

It's just not a great fit for STL. Would force a RH shot D to the left side, and Klinger needs the PP and juicy minutes that go to Krug already. Tarasenko also leading the Blues in points, no need to mess that up.

Speaking in hypothetics if a trade were ever to happen.

My thought process here is trading for players who dont want to be where they are, the description clearly states not 1:1 if it doesnt have to be, I just dont know how a trade could work in this fantasy scenario.

Seriously, not trying to be harsh against you or anything. There is less than nothing here. The Blues have no use for Klingberg, every use for Tarasenko (who stated publicly months ago that the trade request was no longer worth talking about) and like I said Army does not hand the face of the franchise/leading scorer to a hated rival.

Long story short: NEVER gonna happen. In any form. You can bet the house on that.

Didnt know he rescinded his decision to wanting to be traded.

Even with that in mind, it is still fun to think about pure hypothetical fantasy trades though.

1- Well now, I did not say he rescinded it. Just that it's not something he wants to talk about or mess with at least until the season's over.

2- Mmmm "fun" is relative, I suppose.

Blues don't need a RHD and they don't need another offensive D. This trade doesn't really fill a need for stl and Klingberg is a UFA while Tarasenko has another year left

Blues would say no I don’t think they want VT going to somewhere in the west
But if it were to happen I’d want Lindell back
So maybe Lindell, and a first round pick and maybe dellandra

No thanks. I have no interest in trading with the Blues. I would hate to in any way make their team even the slightest bit better.
