Severson isn’t that good, I can’t see Toronto doing that. Don’t think the Samsonov trades is bad, not sure where Washington goes if they move him though.

Only one of these that makes sense is the Vesey deal. The other 2 don't make sense based off need or capwise.

Washington needs to move out a goalie in order to get a steady between presence. Maybe bringing in tatar doesn’t make sense from the cap standpoint there but also figured they need adoring depth

I don’t agree with severson isn’t that good. He’s better than what they currently have on the right side. That being said I did forget to retain, and made the correction

Niemela obviously is the main piece here. Holl is really a cap dump / roster size move. Pick is upgraded to first rounder because it’s a year off and also eating salary on severson for this year and next

I mean Niemela should be. He’s playing very well in the Finnish league, top in points by defenseman I believe

He is a good young player and has high probability of being an NHLer. But he is not the level of prospect that invokes shock when included for top NHLer in his prime, with term.

Leafs have talked about Severson (who Devils are not looking to trade) as their #1 trade prospect all year (really, going back to before they signed Brodie). Yet simultaneously berate Devils fans for asking for more than Holl, an AHLer, and 2nd. It’s exhausting.
