1st round pick, prospect & backup goalie for spare parts ? Mrazek's cap hit isn't THAT big of a concern. And there is no way Arizona isn't on his MNTC list.

Leafs aren’t trading Mrazek - whether fans like it or not. He’s their only NHL goalie signed beyond this season. If you move him you risk going into next season with Joe Woll and Mike Hutchinson as your tandem. Mrazek also hasn’t been THAT bad to be shipping him off already. They signed him to a 3 year deal for a reason. IF he’s moved, it’s guaranteed an off-season move when Toronto has another goalie signed. This just doesn’t make any sense for Toronto.

Mrazek’s better and more proven. Doesn’t make sense to switch them

That's probably the ask for Chychrun but no one wants to pay that price, most importantly Yzerman would not. It worked out great in NHL 22 because Edvinsson doesn't have a real player profile and is a greyed-out silhouette...
