I'd absolutely do this trade for Hellebuyck but they'll probably want a top prospect over Sprong and they should absolutely ask for Lapierre or McMichael. I'd rather give up Lapierre personally.

If Connor Hellebuyck is put on the trade market, Winnipeg would absolutely get better offers then this. And it wouldn't even be close.

Hellebuyck is a top goalie signed to a nice contract for two more years. I'd argue he gets a bigger haul than Scheifele. No way the Jets say yes to this. Goalies like this RARELY become available via trade, especially while still only 28.

So what's a more realistic offer? I kinda pieced this together to see if the Cap could work.

Jets aren’t blowing it up and rebuilding, so Hellebuyck won’t be traded

Goalies like this will get a king's ransom. Probably a couple of firsts and a top prospect. Obviously you'd still need to send a goalie over and other parts to make the salary work, but you may have to move some other parts out separately.
