Is Paul actually a 2nd round pick better than Joseph?

I'd love to get Hagel, but there's no way Chicago does that. Tampa would have to add at least one more significant piece I'd guess to get the Hawks listening.

Yeah not enough for Hagel and with the other contract we're going to retain we can't retain on Delia, who's...not very good..

I think Paul would be very valuable in the playoffs. Can also play C. Excellent PK guy , they had him on McDavid the whole time they played them last time . Big body can protect the puck and score dirty goals

Yeah. Adding him was mostly to make the money work with the other pieces

Hell no he's not!

3 Bogosian is better than Gufstafsson.
4Gustafason is on the small size for a lightning Defenseman

Why would Winnipeg do that?

A 4th for retaining a bit of salary and trading backup goalies? It's not like Comrie or Elliot are worth more than future considerations on today's goalie market right?

Comrie is an RFI and in future plans for the Jets. Elliott is lousy and a rental. So the Jets end up paying mire this year for a worse backup goalie and will and up probably spending more than a 4th to replace Comrie.

So, while Elliott is probably worth nothing, Comrie does have value.

I guess you were hoping no one would notice that one goalie is a rental and the other an RFA?

That's just outright bad for Winnipeg.

Tbh I was looking for a goalie with a sub 1mil cap hit that didn't seem to have a future with their current club. Didn't even check his contract status. Kinda assumed since waiver claim etc he was just a human backup.

He's 26. Hellebuck is 28. How much of a future could he possibly have in the Peg?

Not saying it's a fair deal, but it seems like you're over rating him a bit.

I’m sure the Sabres would rather just have a draft pick,
even if it’s just something like a 5th or 6th

I don’t see why we’d say “no” to that

Anderson has been good for us too
He’d be a great backup/mentor for a contender
Especially a team with young goaltending like u guys

Common sense tells me we’d agree to that trade u just suggested
