Take that 1st and send it to Yotes then let them retain 2m on him. Then you get Burns for 2m. Then we are talking my language wink

Not enough considering we have to retain $12M on Burns who still has positive value, we give you the goalie who has been propping up the entire team for 5 months AND you’re giving us cap dumps in Mrazek and Holl as well.

And back to my original point, the leafs dont want burns at max retained but add for free

It bothers me how many people see this as a loss for Toronto. It's actually pretty crazy. I think it makes sense for both sides.

brent burns' contract is horrible. it's really very simple
