JT Miller is the best bargain

Description
15 NHL players have 60 or more points right now.

The best deals are:
N. Kadri @ $41,550/point and $132,206/ goal,
J, Huberdeau @ $52,069/pt. and $219850/ goal and
JT Miller @ $55,894/pt. and $160,060/ goal

The players that return the worst bang for your buck are:
A. Panarin @ $118,709/pt and $482,752/ goal,
C. McDavid @ $106,128/pt and $289,108/ goal and
A. Matthews @ $105,451/pt and $189,272/ goal.
ALL NUMBERS FROM CAPFRIENDLY

Only 4 of the 15 play on teams that are presently out of a playoff position:
C.McDavid @ $106,128/pt,
A. Ovechkin @ $93,705/pt,
L. Draisaitl @ $73,479/pt and
JT Miller.
There is "almost" no way that the first 3 of these players will be traded. There is a chance that JT Miller wil be available. The price for player of his caliber will be high. I think that the Rangers, Bruins, Blues and Avalanche are the teams mostly likely to have a combination of desire, cap space and assets to acquire Miller. So here are 4 Miller trades.

I'M NOT CONSIDERING RUSSIAN PLAYERS RIGHT NOW BECAUSE OF THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH RUSSIAN PLAYERS RIGHT NOW.
I DO NOT HOLD THE PLAYERS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS OF POLITICIANS AND DO NOT WANT TO USE THEM AS PAWNS TO PUNISH PUTIN.

These are all underpays. If this is all we can get for him, I’d rather just keep him

Blues won't be paying a first and Thomas just to get JT Miller. Thomas is just coming into his own and is 22 and we have control over him for a couple of years

Here’s the thing though, yes Miller has another year, but a team like COL can’t re-sign him could any of the others outside of STL(because they aren’t doing that trade)really hand out $8M+ deal?

Small point of order, ovechkin and the caps are most certainly in a playoff position…and comfortably.

I don't think the Blues even need to make that deal, and yeah, the return is too high. Given Thomas' age and contract, IF the Blues were looking to deal, one for one would be closer to the mark. But it still makes no sense for the Blues, IMO.

The other deals look like 2023 TDL deals to me. Given the return, the Canucks are better off keeping Miller. To get it done at this deadline, it's Schneider and a first from the Rangers, Newhook, Barron and a first from the Avs (price goes up because they are in the same conference), and I don't like that Bruins offer at all. Start the conversation with Lysell and a first pick and then you have my interest.

Rangers have to trade Chytil in a trade with miller. My take is Lundqkvist Chytil and a first. Think they might have another team eat half the salary. Not Van though maybe a team like Arizona Seattle or Buffalo.
