Reality is though you have to look at what he really is: a guy who can play well as a starter or as a 1A tandem situation. He struggles being a B/U. And doesn't help that in spot start usage- at the flip of a switch- he just doesn't display super human ability needed to rise above NYR defense...which at times is absolutely horrid, and most of the time bleeds shots (and good chances) due to inability to clear the defensive zone.

At this point my guess for Georgiev is NYR do not extend his QO this summer...so he ends up signing with another team around 1.5M- in a situation where he can get a good amount of work going forward...maybe NYR can recoup some value (will be much less than a 2nd) or maybe he just walks UFA.

I love Andrew Copp, and don't want him to go, but I have accepted the inevitability of his departure, and this return for him is one I like. Chytil is still young enough to develop into a solid top nine player, and the 2nd and 4th seems right. Copp himself was a 4th round pick, and now he has solidified himself as a top 9 NHLer.

That's not an ideal TDL trade for the Jets. Chytil doesn't have much value and isn't needed by the Jets. Change Chytil to Lundkvist and the Jets are listening, if not it is a no from Winnipeg
