Gibson is a top 5 goalie in the league in my opinion, on a very good deal. No way he gets traded at all, especially not for this. The leafs don’t have the assets to get Gibson.. let alone getting Manson, and Hagel too!

Yeah, as a Ducks fan, I'm kind of inclined to agree. The system around him that Eakins (GET RIDDDDD OF HIMMMMM!) has set up really leaves him hung out to dry. Really seems like he starts the season well every year, and then just gets worn down. I absolutely think that with a workload that is better managed, and a system around him that reduces the whole "Zone defence" BS that Eakins has got on the go, that he's a much better goalie than the numbers have shown, but right now it's hard to make the argument that he's a top 10 goalie anymore.

That being said, I wouldn't move him unless there was an absolute haul coming back.

I believe they shouldn't trade him either, but this is a solid return for a middle-six player if they were to flip him.

He’s a top 6 forward IMO but I agree the return isn’t bad but his cap hit boost his value a lot 1.5 million for 3 is amazing

Bro we turned down multiple offers for a first and top prospect. He'll get a massive return if he's moved. He's someone we can build around. Top end speed, great 2way play, going to score 30 this year, and under long term control for cheap
