Solid list. A lot of these guys are going to be driven by getting ring. Especially Giroux, Gaudreau, Hertl and Kadri.

If Husso starts and takes the Blues to at least the Conference finals, what is he worth?

As a Sabres fan, I'd do 2 years x 6 million. Even if it's a fluke year it wouldn't matter for us.

WIth Husso taking the Blues to the WCF, does that get him 5yearsx5million?

You can add Trochek to the list. I think we’re looking at Kotkaniemi to be our second line center next year

No idea why you wouldn’t want to keep him. I’d take him in a second

Not much thought to Rangers or Wild cap next season. Oilers can't afford and no team should offer so much for Campbell. It's 2022, Manson isn't worth all that $$$ and term.

I would love to keep him, but we might not have the cap space.

I think the Flames should be offering 10x8 for 80, on a 7yr deal that's in the 11.4 range. Maybe he signs for less, but he does have a case for his # to start with a 10

In my opinion, nobody should have an 8 figure cap hit, the cap ceiling is just too low for it to be efficient.

I agree, but for the Flames specifically, they are going to have to pay through the nose to keep Gaudreau. It's well documented American stars seldom play their entire prime in Canada. The Flames also played hard ball with Gaudreau in his RFA negotiation, for 1.25 more they could have signed for two more seasons, he wanted 8x8.

Yeah, it feels like a weird situation where he could be taking a pay cut to go somewhere else.

I have a feeling Klingberg will sign with Seattle, just my 2 cents on his situation.
