You're nuts!! Shore can be buried in the minors and not effect the cap at all so who cares, this would be a great return for Copp!

Why take someone we don’t need or want when we can get a return elsewhere that actually helps..
Jets aren’t rebuilding so getting a prospect that fits needs is as important and helpful as the pick.
There’s been offers that beat this…

No thanks on Barrie
Sabres would rather have another draft pick imo

Gotta agree with the Whaler here. Jets would be nuts to turn down what could be a mid 1st, 3rd and another player they can flip for another pick or prospect or just play. That’s a good offer

I would only take that trade if we would immediately flip Barrie for anything we could get. I'd also feel so bad for Anderson because I want him to go to a team that actually has good/great chances of winning a cup. Florida, Tampa etc.

Sabres still have zero interest in Barrie and as Sky said; I'd like to send Anderson somewhere he can win the Cup

Barrie is the type of d man the Sabres do not need.

Jets accept, but no need to add Shore. The 1st and the 3rd are fine. That said, we'll get an update on Copp's health today so who knows what happens after that.

As usual, my role is to be a fly in the ointment.
I know Tyson has defensive liabilities, but Barrie led all NHL D-men with 48 pts in 56 games.
I could see him paired with Samuelson 5 on 5 and Dahlin on the PP.
Regardless, there will be many NHL teams lining up to take him for a playoff run.
Interesting fact, his 0.921 5 on 5 SV% is behind only Russell 0.927 and Keith 0.922.
