You're asking to much for Kulak, he'll get around a third, that probably amounts to more than a third. Chariot price was probably driven up by a bidding war and a steep original price to begin with but it was pretty close to the 1st +3rd.

Kulak's price is high to be fair. Chychrun is out for a few weeks and may explain Chiarots solid return. A few solid Dmen remain.

Would be surprised to see McBain get a 2nd. Maybe a 3rd.
He is going to pick where he plays. The Wild have already passed it off to the agent to find the deal.
Guerin has no leverage. Its either deal with that team or let him walk.

Mcbain might get a 2nd but it wont be MTL’s. Im sure Hughes we’ll acquire another 2nd in a trade soon to trade for McBain’s rights

You may have more information then what I’ve heard on TSN but Guerin has already told teams that he wants a second round pick for McBain. But ultimately, you’re right, no team will trade a second rd pick if they don’t have any assurances he’ll sign with them.

As I indicated in my above comment, a team that trades for his rights, whether it’s Montreal or some other team will only do so if they have a guarantee that McBain will sign with them, if acquired.

The way I look at it. Either a team has pre-arranged a deal, in which Minnesota will be told which team to trade with, or a team is trading for for him blinding, not knowing if he will sign. Either way, price gets pushed down.

Not so interest in another 1st round pick this year. I’d rather a few D+1 or + 2 prospects. He will have a top 5, 28-32 and 35ish with tons of 3rd and 4th to use to move up a few spots if needed.
I’d love to get a D+1 defensive prospect like Lunqvist somehow . Or Grans or Harley
