i know he wont but hes 32. when you can get younger as a team thats 5th worst in the east its probably an ideal move. once guys hit their 30s you literally never know when theyre gunna drop off.

been saying this for months. the QO was never going to be an issue. he would take a lesser extension (i thought it would be a little lower but whatever) price point is guaranteed for 2 years now and any team will have him in their system to see if hes worth long term extension or not. it wont be a 1 year who knows. kind of transaction. this helps debrusk value a ton. because hes scoring, and now hes extended. theres nothing to knock him about as a 25 year old winger.
